     Every time you wait in line for yet another electronic raping P.T. Barnum's dead toes curl. Apple zombie apocalypse has already occurred and lets face it you did not survive. I have seen and used Apple products and just because they did it first doesn't mean it is or ever will be the best. So while you allow all of your personal data to be sucked into the cloud that is currently being hosted by the NSA I will remain anonymous with my antiquated phone that makes phone calls. I don't care how many tinfoil balls you stuff into your hippie beanie when you give out your fingerprint recognition information you might as well use your privates as the face recognition key to unlock your phone. Slavery no longer needs chains it has catchy dubstep tunes played through over priced ear buds that still don't last any longer than the cheap ones. Oh yes my little piggies you are being lead to yet another slaughter. Wait until that freaking iWatch has a damn polygraph feature added to it without your knowledge. Hurry out today to obtain your new Orwellian finger sucker. I can't wait to see what you can't do with the new iOS7 and the hoops you have to jump through to make it actually work without giving your credit card information to Al Qaeda.

Character

Character is the one thing that is entirely yours to build or destroy. It really seems that in this day and age it is just better to back stab, lie, cheat, or steal than to do the "right" thing. We have all had to stretch truth a time or two but what did we gain in the process? Lets break it down shall we? Those who know what I mean when I say that someone is a person of character will tell you that he or she is trustworthy and a good friend. Character is about knowing who you are and how you act toward other people. Along with character comes integrity. Many sayings come to mind such as "He is as good as his word" or "his word is his bond" it is about not making a promise you cannot keep. People of character are rarely ever looking out for themselves or seeking recognition. They rarely over exaggerate a situation and are truthful all of the time. For instance a person who has little character or self esteem will answer this question this way; How was your trip? It was the most awesomest, amazing, beast, epic, killer, trip ever! A person of character would say It was a lovely trip I truly enjoyed myself.

Now I described that to tell you this. There are few people of character left to carry on the civil act of being a decent human being. Too many liars who sneak around and cannot face their betters. So many who covet that which they have not earned and are unwilling to put in an honest days work. I have personally suffered long hours and financial loss to retain my character and good word. I have no regrets with regard to this but really get steamed when I see others of poor character succeed in any way. You know who you are because you cannot honestly look me in the eye! Hell you can't even look yourself in the mirror. I hold my head up high every single day. Not because I am prideful or boastful. I am thankful for the opportunities I have had and strive to make the best of every situation. Oh believe me when I say I have failed more than one time. But I did it honestly and with integrity. That is what the current generation is lacking. A sense of honor and commitment to a moral standard that is above reproach. I weep for those who cannot see beyond their own ego, selfishness, and greed. Pay attention to the world around you because the way you are acting someone is going to be gunning for you. Living your life looking back with regret is not a price that is worth paying for ANYTHING!

Not Good Enough

I know that many of you out there have become concerned for the safety of yourself and your family. Gun sales have skyrocketed over the last 5 years. Folks it is simply not good enough to own a gun. Part of the problem is we as Americans want to be safe but are generally unwilling to work for it. Owning a gun comes with a greater responsibility. Safety comes first to mind when considering a firearm purchase. Hiding it from the kids is not a safe option. If you can get to it so can they. A safe is barely a viable option because once again if you can get into it so can they. Teach your children about the firearm. Show them the firearm. Answer all their questions. As they come of age teach them to operate the firearm and how to break it down and clean it. But is this enough? I say NO! If you own it you must be prepared to use it, and use it under duress. You are not going to have all the time in the world to bring your weapon into play and the attacker may be as well armed or better armed than you. I could site several incidents in recent news history where the attacker was well prepared and well armed against unarmed or under prepared victims. Once you lose your opportunity to act there are no mulligans or do overs. So learn how your firearm works, practice with it as frequently as possible, take classes in self defense with a firearm, and read about all the data available. I hope and pray that none of you ever have to use your firearm or come into that type of dangerous situation. But if you do I hope and pray you heed this little piece of advice and take responsibility for your safety and the safety of your family.

Foreign Aid

Alright folks here we go! Senator Rand Paul R-KY has put forth an amendment on the foreign aid package we send to Egypt. My question is why is it only for Egypt? Here is what we do about foreign aid, we stop it. We are creating a welfare nation here in our own country with 11 States touting welfare rolls that exceed the employed population. We are trying to create a welfare world. I don't want to buy these people off I simply don't want to see naked starving children as a result of their government's poor choices. We have a ton of used clothing and unused produce here in this country so send them that and be done with it. Don't send them new NIKE tennis shoes and porterhouse steaks. Let us stop this insanity across the board. Let us focus on our problems, our debt, our borders, and our decline. We have nothing to fear from people who cannot feed and clothe themselves so why bribe their corrupt officials? Perhaps we should cut the head off this problem instead of feeding it.

The "Big" Day

Well tomorrow it is back to the doctor. We will be discussing the "options" for treatment. I had hoped that a better option than what is facing me would become available but I don't get an easy button. As schedules panned out we have no one to watch the kids so I am flying solo. I will miss having my wife there to temper my nerves. I have to get my big boy pants on in the morning, suck it up, and deal with it. I am not afraid of the treatment or the side effects as they are temporary. I am however very nervous about the 100% iron clad cure option. I have a family that needs me and am not prepared to leave them in a lurch. Hell my youngest son would barely remember me if this goes badly. I feel like I am carrying a very heavy weight on my shoulders and am now being asked to run up a muddy hill. School didn't prepare me for this. My folks didn't prepare me for this. Only life has given any illumination as to what is to come. I don't blame school or my folks but wow this sort of stuff should come with a manual. I see the worry in the eyes of those who are closest to me. That hurts the most. Not being the rock, the tough guy, the pillar, or the anchor. I always thought I could puff up my chest and stick out my chin and take on the world. Well God has a funny way of dealing with that sort of arrogance. Thank you for the lesson Father, it was much needed. Well time to get some things done and move on to fixing this so we can carry on with our grand plans.

Face Value

I would like to thank every person who has ever lied, fudged, or fibbed. I can no longer take ANYTHING at face value. I know that forgiveness is a part of being human and being a good person but wow. having been raked over the coals so many times there are very few things I accept at face value. I realized this this morning as I was reading things and being totally dismissive of the face value of what was being said. It is real easy to become a tinfoil hat wearing conspiracy theorist when everything you see or hear is a half truth. Then someone comes along and is actually genuine and BINGO I don't believe what they are saying. It is almost like the entire English language reverts to the least likely definition of each and every word. My head is going to explode soon I am sure of it. You turn on the television, LIES. You read the newspaper, LIES. A politician takes in a breath, LIES. Your kids get caught in a tight spot, LIES. Someone is the least bit uncomfortable with you, LIES.

Then someone comes along and is genuine and honest and I wonder why I can't believe what I am hearing or seeing. I wonder why people get so bent when they do the right thing and still get screwed over? Wow perhaps the simple truth is the truth and we all need a hell of a lot more of it. There has never been a lie told that is ultimately easier than the truth. I am trying to raise three boys with this in mind. It is very hard when they are lied to constantly. It makes me want to apologize to everyone who is honest and sincere because I am almost incapable of believing you. Just before I started writing this I picked apart a friends blog because I was seeing ulterior motives where there were none. For that I feel like shit. But it makes me wonder how many people do the same to me? How do we keep from clubbing each other like baby seals every time we speak?

Is there a place that exists where face value is face value? I mean even with religion, politics, and sexual relationships aside can the average person be trusted any more? You go to buy something that is promoted as this product for this price, LIES. You end up paying a hell of a lot more for the idea they placed in your head and that is what advertising has become. It is a lie to achieve the up sell. Case in point have you bought a car or a house lately? How about appliances or electronics? One lie after another until you get your wallet out then we get to the truth. Just tell me what it costs to get what I want and we will start there. You are not going to wear me down because I can walk away. Lets talk cable and internet or cellular service. Ever hire a contractor? All a big pack of lies to get more money out of you.

In conclusion what is real anymore? What happened to genuine care and consideration for others? I miss that sense of community and sharing. Be it good or bad people are ashamed of who they are and unwilling to play the hand of cards they are dealt. It may not be the winning hand but at least you are in the game!

Lack of Rantage

For those of you who have been following The Rant I want to first thank you and second explain the drastic reduction of rantage here lately. I have been slowing my roll for 2 reasons. I have had some health related issues and second my rants are starting to run together. If conditions in this country continue down the same muddy rutted road my rants will distill into 2 words the first starting with F and the second starting with Y. Perhaps I will be as lazy as the rest of the country and just do a selfie of my magnificent longest digit and just post that. At this point folks I want to rant about EVERYTHING! Even the "nice" stories are contrived or outright lies. I am about to look into buying a cave and moving on in. I means seriously nothing seems to be realistic anymore. Even people local to me are living in a fantasy world and not seeing the reality of what is going on around them. I will open this up to suggestions as to worthy topics to "rant" about. I am willing to discuss anything at this point. I certainly hope this feeling of utter disdain passes.

We can't fix stupid.

Folks I see so many intolerant comments from those who preach tolerance these days that it makes me want to puke. We are all imperfect. We make mistakes. We say things in anger that if we had the time to think it through would not have said at all. If a person is to be held accountable for every thing they have done wrong or said that was angry we would all be in jail. I am the last person to cast stones as I certainly live in a glass house. The recent Paula Deen incident is proof positive that we live in a Godless, loveless, hateful world filled with self righteous assholes. Yes I said it and I will probably say it again. SO WHAT! If a person makes changes to correct the ignorant behavior have we not room in our heart to forgive. Note I said forgive but never forget. Bottom line if you are offended by hate words like Honkey, Cracker, Faggot, Homo, Queer, Chink, Spic, Polok, Mic, Kike, Heine, Nigger, Porch Monkey, Blue Gum, or any of a thousand more I could list then perhaps you should rethink your life choices instead of pointing fingers. If you are one then might it be a burden on you to make amends? Should I forgive you for being a lazy ass life sucking dumbass who steals food from my table and toys from my children? GROW THE HELL UP PEOPLE! This isn't High School it is LIFE! Start living yours and stop trying to steal mine.

Father's Day

I have, for many years, tried to think of ways to show my Father what he means to me. I have tried gifts and lavish meals but they all fell woefully short of my intentions. As I grow older and am the Father of three boys I think the only thing I can say is what I feel. Every time I come across a parental decision I have a pause and think "What would Dad do". It has not failed me yet. Every time I take a moment and try to recall exactly how my Dad raised me before acting on a parental decision I have met with great success. Dad didn't always get it 100% right but it was better than I could do without his guidance. He was always kind enough to listen to every question and give the best answer he could. He was a great teacher, mentor, and friend. He had expectations that were set in stone and he never budged even when I put on my best begging act. He kept me on the right path. He allowed me to make my own mistakes and learn my lessons while keeping me safe from my own short shortsightedness. Now as I look to be a good Dad I once again have my Dad to thank because I have an entire lifetime of great memories to draw upon. Thank you Dad for always being my Dad first. It really did make a difference. Much love and kindness comes with that ultimate of offerings. I understand that now more than I ever have.

I am so very angry.

You may ask why the title to this particular blog. Well this is a very personal blog not your run of the mill political rant against tyranny. So stick with me for a few moments and learn why I am in fact so very angry. Imagine a young man raised to be clean and decent, to be upright and faithful to those you choose to partner with. A young man that took personal responsibility to be safe when having intimate relations with the women he chose to partner with. A young man who avoided the peer pressure to be "cool" and never altering his body which is a gift from God. Yep no tattoo or piercing even living and growing up in the 1980's. A young man that made informed and well thought out decisions regarding the health care professionals he chose to allow to practice medicine on him. Living as "Godly" a life as he had the ability to do so even realizing he is a failed sinner. Now after 43 years of playing it safe and doing the right thing he is told that he has been poisoned by those he chose to care for him. His family may be robbed of him. His boys may not have a Father there to watch them win that game, graduate from school, build a life, find their mate. To have to face a wife daily that he may not grow old with. Looking at the worry on the face of a Father that may have to bury his only child. To weekly have to report bad news to his precious friends. All for the neglect and carelessness of a healthcare "professional". All because a poison was introduced into his body not of his choosing or in spite of his careful life of cleanliness and thoughtfulness. Do I have the right to be angry? is this some punishment for the sins I have committed in my life? I have been diagnosed with Hepatitis C. As we go through the steps of typing and finding treatment for it I as that each of you who read this pray. I ask you to pray for those I mentioned above. I do not ever wish to hurt them even with the possible problems with treatment as we desperately seek a cure for this. Pray that this has not ruined my liver so that I can survive the treatments that are available. Pray that those who seek to treat my illness make the best possible decisions. Pray for 3 young boys who desperately need their Father to be there for them. Pray for a wife who should not have to face the future alone. Pray for a Father who does not want to outlive his Son. Pray that the anger does not consume my thoughts. Pray.

Marriage Equality

     Alright folks lets talk. I am seeing a great deal of turmoil over the topic of who should have the "right" to be married. No matter how you define it marriage between 2 people is their business not yours. They only go through the paces to allow others to share in their joy. It is a choice they make between themselves and God. Who are we to second guess God's willingness to allow or disallow anything? Human rights are easily granted by giving ALL human beings an even playing field. The fact that we judge folks on the decisions they make is where the real sin lies. We pat ourselves on the back to make ourselves feel better. We espouse other people's causes to feel good about our shitty behavior. Stop sitting on the fence waiting for others to stand up and do the right thing. Reach down and grab that tiny set of nuts buried deep and be a person not a sheeple. I refuse to say that marriage is wrong just because I read a passage in The Bible that "might" be interpreted that way. Once again who am I to judge? Do not lead I may not follow. Do not follow I may not lead. Just walk with me and be my friend.

      Rant #2 visa vi the current hubub about marriage equality. Who do you think you are helping or impressing by dragging out your "Gay friend/family member" to bolster your sincerity? It is like someone calling you racist and bringing out your ethnic friend to prove your point. Stand on your own words and actions. If you are a dickhead it doesn't matter how many friends of a certain group you espouse you are still in fact a dickhead.

The right to carry verses is it right to carry

For many years now I have steadily become aware of the need for a head of a family to be prepared for just about anything. With 3 growing boys I have had quite a few curve balls thrown my way. As I eased on into 40+ years of age, yeah right eased, I began to realize that I was in fact not 10 feet tall nor bullet proof. I also discovered that the life of my children meant more to me than the life of a stranger who would put them in harms way. I could not live with myself if I had to watch my children and my wife be harmed and be unable to do anything about it. I have owned guns and or been around them all of my life but never paid all that much attention to them. I didn't feel the need to have that level of protection. Then I met a sweet young lady and we have 3 wonderful boys and well, I started thinking about it. As the years went by I started to see more violent crimes, sexual assaults, armed robberies, and home invasions. the more I looked at the problem of keeping my family safe I discovered that no amount of alarms, cell phones, pepper spray, or baseball bats could help me keep my family safe. The only way to combat an attacker with a firearm is to have a firearm myself. It was a personal and moral choice. As a Christian the thought of having to take a life is appalling. I don't want to harm anyone. But the thought of my wife or my children being hurt because I was not prepared made even less sense. I did all the right things, researched the best way to defend my home, got a really big dog that is sweet as can be but mean looking enough to deter some would be invaders. I still did not feel I had given it my best. So I purchased a firearm. I trained with it, learned all about it, and told no one I had it. I simply kept it put away for that one time I might need it. As my boys got older I decided to get a gun safe. It was the right thing to do to protect them from the very thing I had bought to protect them with. My wife eventually got a gun and trained with it as well. When my boys asked I would show the guns to them and explain their workings and operation. As they got older, my oldest will be 20 this year, I took them and taught them what my Father taught me. I made sure they could safely operate the firearms we own and how to maintain them. I know some of you find most gun owners to be a little off of center and maybe I am. But it is my sole desire to own this weapon and never need to level it at another human being as long as I draw breath. Unfortunately times require good people to prepare to fight for the lives of those they love. My family is worth fighting for. So I carry a gun. I do not use this as a means to influence others. Usually I am the only one who knows I have it with me. Some might say that I am overly paranoid. Tell that to the folks in the movie theater or in the elementary school. Through no fault of our own we are exposed to those who would wish us harm for no other reason than they are mentally deranged or just plain evil. I feel it is right to carry for these reasons and I exercise this right with great respect, care, and caution.

Astronaut diapers and democracy?

Yesterday we all got the privilege of watching democracy at work. For the first time in many years I felt like my elected officials were actually making the effort to protect our freedoms. Lead by Rand Paul the junior Senator from the state of Kentucky a filibuster of the vote to approve the new CIA Director John Brennan. This was not in protest of Mr. Brennan but a demand for answers on the use of drones in The United States against citizens of The United States. For how long did we hear about "racial profiling"? How long did we hear the Democrats chest thump about due process and the 5th Amendment? Well we got to witness a group of Senators demand answers the proper way. They didn't go on national television and call someone a granny killer or throw someone under the bus. They simply asked, repeatedly for clarification of a question. Now if we were dealing with adults who were not criminal in their behavior this would not have made the news. Well let me rephrase that it would not have made Fox News. Most of the propaganda channels did little to cover or draw attention to the fact that our President got caught peeing in the pool and is too butt hurt to act like an adult. Our rights and freedoms are being held hostage by a terrorist. It is a shame that all the folks looking for something for nothing elected this individual to the highest office in the land. What does it say to you when the leader of the free world gets caught with his hand in the cookie jar on a power grab and does nothing to come clean? Well I best watch what I say before my house gets droned. Perhaps they should have fired 2 blasts off the balcony?

The Grim Reaper of Stupidity

Brothers and Sisters! The Grim Reaper of Stupidity has descended upon us! We have a situation in this country that has become an epidemic. Folks we have a shortage of sensible, decent, hard working folks to keep all the idiots in check. We have allowed unruly children to take over the house. We let them forcibly elect a President who cannot and will not make them behave. Our government has prostituted themselves over a vote. They have cow towed to the lazy. They have given from the haves to the will nots. Yes they have lead the unknowing into the light of free stuff for the sake of remaining in power. We are all to blame for allowing our children and family members to act this way. They have used civil rights and lawyers and police forces to take our ability to deal with our own away from us. Now we have nothing left but to allow the behavior until the children behave so poorly that they break the laws of those lifting up their piss poor behavior to begin with. We have allowed the ignorant access to vast amounts of money that is not theirs and they did not earn in the name of capitalism. We have built a financial house of cards by lending huge sums of money to people who have no prayer of paying it back. We build houses people cannot afford and sell them cars they cannot keep and sell them electronics they can ill afford while lavishing each other with jewelry they cannot pay for. Then they claim bankruptcy and you and I pay the price for their fiscal irresponsibility. We give those who refuse to work the false hope that they too deserve The American Dream. We allow people who are not citizens of this country to enjoy a living condition which exceeds the lower 30% of the working population for no other reason than to make a small group of politicians feel like they are good people? Stupid can kill folks. It is breaking the backs of a full 45% of the population. Now if I am forced between the decision to follow these ridiculous laws or break them and rebel in order to properly care for my family guess which one I will choose. Outward resistance to these back breaking laws made by greedy power hungry narcissists is going to be the next civil uprising. If America comes to this we will see the collapse of the world economy and war on a global scale never before seen. So how many people are you actually saving by doing this you mindless usurpers of liberty?

Sequestration and Government shut down.

I sincerely hope that these simple sons a bitches shut the government down over sequestration. It will be a win win win for the entire country. They should all pack their shit up and head on home. Best bail out we ever had would be to send every uhaul we can rent to Washington and move these ponzi scheming wretches back to whatever rock they came out from under. From a humanitarian stand point these people have a problem. They are addicted to spending your money. They want to spend it at every turn. If they can't get you to willing give them money to spend they will force it or steal it from you. They desire to wield power over the entire world and they want to get you in a serfdom with them as the manner lord. The problem is not the 1% crowd it is the 1000 or so money grubbing trolls that are running this country. Ween these freaks off the teat cold turkey.

No matter your race, creed, sexual orientation, gender, political party, economic level, or social standing there are some constants that we all must come to terms with. Your Government will not protect you. Only the sacrifice and service of brave citizens can help to protect you. You must take personal responsibility for your well being. Your Government will not raise your children. For whatever reason, and I have no intention of debating this here, you are a parent. It is your child not the Government. The child is either a decent human being because you are a decent human being or a dickhead because you are a dickhead. Pardon the language but I feel the disparity required it. Plus this is my blog and if you don't like it you are welcome to surf to some other soft hitting fluff about the Oscars or some other hand holding bullshit. Your Government will not make you rich. They take your hard earned money and misuse it to support their bloated carcasses. It is up to you to ensure that you are financially covered. You owe it to your children and to their future to be fiscally responsible. So please be responsible enough to stop paying $5.00 a day for $0.25 worth of coffee. Nobody should be allowed to be that stupid. Yes it is good, but not $4.75 worth of good. Hold the Government accountable by whatever means is necessary. Yes I said that. If you have to stand your ground and rebel for your beliefs and convictions make damn sure of them and know what and why you are fighting for them. Don't just piss in my ear over the fact your parents didn't give you enough attention as a child. Make the effort to not take the easy path every chance you get. Lazy, fat, and stupid doesn't look good on anyone. And black clothing doesn't make you look any better.

Reach out and make a difference in people's lives. Help out a stranger or friend. Smile often to those who do not know you. Render your anger into a fine point and become passionate about this gift of life you have been given. If you go around with your hand out it is going to get slapped. Make the happiest part of your day looking into the mirror and into the sincere admiration of those you love.

TANF payments linked to grades

A new bill being proposed in Tennessee would link a families welfare payments to their children's grades in school. This is a sad damn commentary on the state of affairs in America today. The fact that there are parents that are not involved with their child's education is bad enough. Now we have to legislate parental responsibility? This makes me sick.

Dear Legislative Snake Oil Salesmen,

     ENOUGH! You can't sell it here anymore. We don't want any. We gave at the office. You cannot get blood from a turnip. I know you believe most of America fell off the turnip wagon but let me clue you this old hillbilly didn't fall off the wagon that went past this morning! We are not resources for you to exploit. We are not some tribe in an undeveloped country. If you don't get this we can always re institute the practice of tar and feathering and running you out of town on a rail.

Dear Americans who think everything should be fixed by our Government,

You are delusional and in much need of a reality check. I am going to be so blunt as to deal you some "Reality Cash" in this blog. I hope I offend you. You pampered little whiney babies! Get your head out of your hind end and take responsibility for what you say and do! So you got drunk at that party when you were young and got pregnant or were involved in some way in the act that created a child. EVERYTHING THAT CHILD SAYS OR DOES FOR THE NEXT 18 YEARS IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY! You made a mistake now own up to it. Manage yourself so you can properly raise that child and take care of them. Yes this means you sacrifice. Yes this means you stay home more weekends than you go out. Yes this means you wear clothes until they fall apart. Yes this means you settle for the cheaper things in life. Yes this means you take care of that old vehicle. Yes this means you work hard every single day.

Quit whining about what you don't have and with a grateful heart start looking at the blessings that are in your life. YES YOU WIMP YOU ARE BLESSED! While we are on the subject of weakness I hold each and every person responsible for the following characteristics: Laziness, Stupidity, Crass Language, Rude Behavior. There is no excuse for this so stop being a 3 year old and grow up!

Kudos California

Rarely do I praise politicians in my rants but this time they got it right. Recently California passed a bill allowing cottage food start up companies to produce certain food items at home and sell them to restaurants and grocery stores. They eliminated a huge pile of red tape paving the way for entrepreneurs to get a foot hold in the industry. If California lawmakers can get it right even one time it gives me hope that our government can.

Real Entitlement Reform

We all can agree that as a nation and as a people we have a moral obligation to care for those who are less fortunate than we are. The sick, elderly, and handicapped. But for the third and fourth generation welfare recipients and the illegal aliens who could be paying taxes on their earnings enough is enough. Why should we bankrupt our country to elevate you when you are unwilling to lift a finger to obey the law and pull your own weight?

Here is how we reform the system and create jobs in the process. Welfare will no longer be paid out in cash. No more monthly checks. Local contracts will be up for bid in every major city to provide and maintain acceptable living space for those families who require housing. With the housing market where it is the government could take the resources currently being used to pay out millions in welfare checks to build and refurbish existing buildings to house those who need assistance. As a stipulation for living in this facility you must be willing to work, if not disabled completely, a certain number of hours. This work would be in the form of lower level secretarial and office work and telephone work. Face it if you can send and email and file for welfare you can answer a telephone or type a letter. Proper regulation of quality handicapped accessible housing will be provided for your time. Those who are capable of physical labor will help maintain the facility under the supervision of the contracted government entity.

Those who receive food stamps and are not working a job will also be required to work for the food stamps. Public transportation and shuttle services will be contracted to service those living in these facilities as well as medical and dental services. A voucher system for those items not covered by food stamps will be available and existing retailers can bid on those contracts as well. Cash will no longer be provided for those items reducing the amount of waste.

Basically you will be provided for in the manner in which the American people feel is morally acceptable. No longer will we continue to throw money at a problem that is self perpetuating. If you want to live above this basic level you will have to move to where there are jobs. Conversely educational and employment opportunities should be provided to those who wish to better themselves. Deadbeat teachers who are "unfit" to teach our children but still collect a check due to union regulations will provide continuing education for those who require it as a part of their pay. Instead of sitting at home under the protection of their union contracts they will go to these facilities and teach GED courses and higher education preparatory classes. Vouchers will be issued for discounted education and colleges and vocational schools can bid on these contracts to fill their classrooms.

This will better service those who are stuck in a welfare class and desire to get out and also eliminate the element of gangs and drug involvement in the welfare class. If cash is no longer available they will lose interest in them.
